Over the past few years this has become a goto spot for us when we're in Newton. I've never had a disappointing experience. The burgers are always great, the pimento cheese is great... I do miss the cannonballs appetizer. Staff is always friendly and on point, whether it's slow or extremely busy.

We love this place!! Go there all the time!! Today (April 12, 2025), we were there with your baby and she got sick at the table. We felt terrible about it and rushed to get out. Everyone that worked there helped us out so much, with getting stuff to clean it up, getting our food to go etc. I mean everyone that was working there helped out!! The manager came to check on us and our daughter. I can't say how awesome that was and I can't thank them enough!! We will be back again and again!!

5 Stars all around! We visited this restaurant last week (Friday) for dinner. We were greeted as soon as we entered the door. The hostess was very friendly and told us what the wait time would be. We put our name in and sat in the waiting area. The wait was much faster than the original time we were quoted (which is always a nice thing!) They sat us at a table in the front next to the bar and live music. We were worried that the music might be too loud to enjoy dinner. That wasn't the case at this restaurant! They have the live music volume at a reasonable level so that you can enjoy the music but still enjoy your company. The guy performing this evening was also wonderful. He played a variety of songs that everyone enjoyed. We were waited on by the bartender (Stephen Tyler) who was phenomenal. He took the best care of us on our first visit. Anything and everything we needed was brought to us very quickly. Mind you, the restaurant was packed and so was the bar. The food was amazing and we each got something different. It is also nice that the restaurant carries a black bean burger! Alyssa checked on us while we were still at our table and she was incredibly nice. We really enjoyed each and every person that works at B-52's. Overall, it was a wonderful restaurant with great food, drinks, and vibes. We will definitely eat here again the next time we are in town!

So glad we found this wonderful gem of a restaurant. We got there before the crowd on a Saturday night with a show in town. Keisha was our waitress and she was fabulous. All the employees were so friendly. Portions of food were a good size. The atmosphere was excellent, covering all bases of the military with many photos of the locals, pictures, artifacts, etc. If we ever come back, we will definitely come here again!!

There was nothing bad on the menu, everything was pristine. The drink specials from bar were both speedy and tasty. The atmosphere was nice, but I could imagine it might be way more impressive during a sporting event with a state/college/local team on the screens. The theme was great, drawing upon local legacy. The staff was very kind, patient, and happy to be there, and happier chatting with the patrons. Will return. ...and I did return... I visited with a larger group on this occasion, and I ordered essentially the same menu items. The food and serve wasn’t a fluke! The food was just as good, as were the drinks. The staff was host as good, if not better. Parking was a bit complex with construction occurring right out front — but the extra 20 yard walk was totally worth it. They were a bit more busy this time, but the food came quickly anyway. Changing recipe to five stars as it’s earned!

Great place to eat! Nice atmosphere and a tribute was to Service Men and Women. Food was reasonably price, fresh and delicious. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were super friendly and helpful. There is a bar for drinks and live music on the weekends. We had about a 30 minute wait, but there is a nice waiting area inside, if there is room. The fried pickles were some of the best we have had anywhere.

One of our Favorite Places to visit while in Newton. Never had a bad meal drink or vist. Staff is Super Friendly Food is Always Perfect and Flavorful and the locals treat you like Family. If you have never been you are seriously missing out!

The service, food and atmosphere were great! The hosts and server were kind and helpful. The restaurant was clean and running smoothly. They seemed busy but well managed. The only complaint was I was freezing under the A/C. Thanks for a great first experience! I appreciate that restaurant theme honoring service men and women!
